A delicate pair of Chinese koi fish are the focal points of this tattoo with the piece extending from the pectoral and across the upper back. One captured in motion, the composition is accentuated through the use of abstract ink splash movements throughout conveying a sense of more refined yet dynamic movement. Large portions of the piece are captured through the use of inverted coloring, using existing skin tone as part of the design thereby retaining a more minimalist tone. Due to the positioning a full view of each individual koi is impossible to capture in a single shot.
