Two sweeping, strong black characters flow across the side torso. The characters for this stand-alone tattoo were created in an abstract, almost fractured ink-brush aesthetic. This vertical alignment lends itself extremely well to Chinese calligraphy as it closely mirrors the traditional scroll dimensions within the art form, allowing the writing to be viewed independently of other pieces.
