Implementing a highly open aesthetic with segments of abstract, organic movements this piece is again part of the Modern Ink series to be released in late 2016. Mirroring traditional Chinese water brush painting on a vertical canvas the composition is a departure from established practices within the technique, placing the free-form alongside color movements as focal points. Requiring multiple sessions for each - these paintings are compiled in layers so as to accurately capture the dynamism between ink and water
