Doubly Abstract

Two Lines of Abstract Stylized Chinese Ink Brush Calligraphy - Side Torso Tattoo | Artwork And Application By Joey Pang Of Tattoo Temple Hong Kong | Unique | Living | Art | www.TattooTemple.hk | www.JoeyPang.com

Two lines of abstract, stylized Chinese ink-brush calligraphy transitioned into tattoo art. Created using soft brushes and specialist paper, the movement in the traditional writing is seamlessly transferred onto skin. Although again subject to movement due to the body's positioning, the side torso offers an excellent area for this style of composition. The further extension of the writing slightly below the waistline adds a different feel to the artwork when commonly viewed (e.g. with only the shirt off), as the whole piece would not be fully visible. A key consideration in many placements is to not have the entire piece readily visible from any one angle so it appears to be wrapped with / form part of the body - as opposed to merely placed on it. Thank you again for your kind patience and we look forward to your next sessions
